I love the Alfa's technology and experience, but I'll go for the raw speed of the Lotus. I think it looks about as good too.

Went with the Alfa because Italian sexy and 400 lbs lighter. But I'm torn and wonder if it was really the correct choice.

If I may be allowed to just barely touch my thumb on the scales for style vs. substance, the Alfa wins. Drop dead gorgeous, and sounds the way a proper Alfa should.

Is that a fair comparison on the weight? I think the Alfa is reporting the "dry weight" and actual US weight will be closer to 2400 lbs

The Alfa's engine note is pure ear sex. Plus I don't like the looks of the post facelift Elise/Exige.
